GROUNDS MANAGEMENT
Service Includes
Debris: Every visit, we remove all debris from the turf and beds in an effort to maintain the impeccable appearance of your property. This includes leaves, sticks, and all other debris that fall from your trees and shrubs.
Edging of Beds: We will define the borders of your landscape beds with crisp, clean edges, elevating the overall aesthetic appeal of your property and providing a polished look to your outdoor spaces. Edging will be maintained with each visit.
Mulch Replacement: In late winter/early spring ( February and March) we will provide up to 10 cubic yards of brown or black mulch to refresh and enhance the appearance of your landscape beds, suppress weed growth, and retain moisture in the soil. Should additional quantities of mulch be needed, it will be charged separately.
Shrub Pruning: We will meticulously prune and shape your shrubs three (3) times per year to maintain their natural beauty, encourage healthy growth, and prevent overgrowth that could detract from your landscape's aesthetics.
Weed Management: We will diligently keep your landscape beds free from unsightly weeds through regular weed pulling or targeted spraying, ensuring a clean and well-manicured appearance for your beds. Should you choose our optional Lawn Treatment Program, this service will also be extended to the turf areas.
Mowing: We begin mowing as soon as your lawn is ready in the spring and continue throughout the season and end when the turf has stopped growing for the year.
Aeration and Overseeding: Every September, we will perform core aeration to alleviate soil compaction and enhance nutrient absorption. Following aeration, we will overseed your lawn with premium grass seed to promote a thick, resilient lawn and address any sparse areas.
Leaf Removal: Weekly during the fall season (November and December), we will efficiently remove leaves from your lawn and landscape beds, ensuring they remain free from debris and allowing your property to maintain its pristine appearance. Any leaves outside of the fall season are covered under “Debris” above.
Enhancement Specialist: Monthly, our account manager will visit your property. They will meticulously inspect your landscape, create detailed notes and suggest potential enhancements or, if warranted, an action plan for minor issues. They will then promptly address them with you in an effort to maintain the impeccable appearance of your estate.
Optional Services
Turf Care: We perform ten (10) applications per year to ensure that your lawn remains lush, healthy, and vibrant. Services will include lime, fertilization, weed control, insect/grub/armyworm treatments and monitoring for any signs of turf issues. Sedges, non-broadleaf weeds and other issues that need specialized attention are not included and are priced separately.
Irrigation System Management: Our specialists will manage your irrigation system, including start-up in the spring and winterization in the fall. Additionally, we will conduct periodic checks and adjustments as needed to ensure optimal performance and water efficiency throughout the year. We will notify you of any issues and create separate proposals for any repairs. If your county requires an annual back flow valve certification, we will handle that as well and forward the documents to the correct government department.
We are closed over Christmas and New Years, and observe Memorial Day, the Fourth of July, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving. Visits in January and February are every two weeks.
